About Me
Education
My name is Lucas Custodio. I am currently in my Junior year at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), majoring in Computer Science. My vision for web development first started when on Fall of 2024, with FAU’s Introduction to Web Development class. I think what captured my attention was the possibility of combining different widgets, to make a beautiful page that’s on the internet for the whole world to see. The ability to study and learn how to make pages that convey the right information, with the end goal of getting results, is what pushes me to give it my all
Professional Experience
I am always looking for an opportunity to use my skills, challenge my current knowledge, and grow in my work. My professional experience starts with my first internship for a Studio in Boca Raton. I worked there for about 6 months. In that time, I was in charge of all things web related. The studio worked with multiple local artists, providing a the equipment and expertise to run a successful podcast for each client. During my time there, I got to develop a few websites, with the most significant one being the website for the studio itself. My second job was working for the company OneHope, in their summer internship program, Cultivate. During my time there, I got to work on a variety of projects. The first one was developing a WordPress site for their Middle School, Purpose Academy. My second project involved image optimization across multiple of OneHope’s to strengthen the page’s health. The last project involved optimizing Rob Hoskin’s (CEO) site for SEO. Some of the tasks I completed included solving 404 errors, re-directs, orphan pages, and more.
